Please broadcast the following special announcement immediately and repeat it at suitable intervals:

"Here is an Education Bureau special announcement concerning schools:

As the traffic will still be seriously disturbed by 'Occupy Central' movement, the Government anticipates that the roads and public transport may continue to be affected in the vicinity of Wan Chai and Central and Western areas. To safeguard students' safety, the Education Bureau announced that classes of all kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and special schools in the Wan Chai and Central and Western districts would be suspended tomorrow (October 3). Schools should remain open and arrange staff to look after students who might arrive.

For students studying in other districts but cannot go to schools due to traffic problems, schools should exercise flexibility when handling students' lateness or absence. The Education Bureau reminds parents and students to place safety as top priority when making any arrangements. During class suspension, parents should keep their children home and not allow them to participate in any assemblies or activities that might be unlawful.

School lists by district are available at the EDB website
