Appeal for information on abandoned child (with photos)

     Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a boy who was found abandoned in Yau Ma Tei on September 24.

     At about 11.32am on September 24, Police received a report that a boy was found abandoned inside Kwong Wah Hospital, 25 Waterloo Road.

     The boy is believed to be two years and eight months old. He is about 94 centimetres tall and 14.6 kilograms in weight. He has a round face with yellow complexion and short black hair. He wore a round neck T-shirt with printed words ˇ§ANGRY BIRDSˇ¨ when being found. No identity document was found.

     The boy, sustaining no apparent injuries, was admitted to Kwong Wah Hospital for observation.

     Investigations by the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Yau Ma Tei Division are underway.
