Police take action to disperse protestors
*****************************************

Protestors violently charged the Police cordon line outside the Central Government Offices (CGO) earlier today (September 28). After Police repeated warnings and protestors refused to leave, Police decided to escalate the use of force and tear gas was used to stop those acts which endangered public safety and public order. Police urge the protestors to keep calm and be restrained and stop charging Police cordon line immediately. They should leave peacefully and orderly. Police also appeal to members of the public to avoid going to Central, Admiralty and Wan Chai.
