     The Hong Kong Observatory issued the No. 8 Southeast Gale or Storm Signal at 10.30pm yesterday (September 15).

     The Home Affairs Department has so far opened 28 temporary shelters in various districts and 104 people have sought refuge at the shelters.

     According to the Hospital Authority, so far one person has sought medical treatment at a public hospital.

     The 1823 Government Call Centre has so far received 12 reports of fallen trees.

     On air traffic, 45 passenger flights have been cancelled and 522 delayed as at midnight.

     The Drainage Services Department received one report of flooding in North District as at midnight. No report of landslide has been received.

     It is expected that southeast gale winds will affect Hong Kong for a period of time.
