Police will implement special traffic arrangements tomorrow (September 13) and on September 15 to facilitate two public processions to be held in Sheung Wan.
The following roads will be intermittently closed from 9.30am tomorrow until the crowd is dispersed:
- Bonham Strand West;
- Bonham Strand;
- Queen¡¦s Road West;
- Li Sing Street;
- Ko Shing Street;
- Eastbound Des Voeux Road West; and
- Wing Lok Street.
The following roads will be intermittently closed from 3pm on September 15 until the crowd is dispersed:
- Bonham Strand; and
- Bonham Strand West.
Vehicles in car parks along the procession routes may not be permitted to leave during the road closure period.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
