Man holding charged with manslaughter

Police today (September 8) holding charged a 48-year-old man with one count of manslaughter.
The man was in suspected connection with a manslaughter case in an elderly home on Yuen Long On Lok Road on September 3 in which a 78-year-old man sustained injuries to his head. He was sent to Pok Oi Hospital and later transferred to Tuen Mun Hospital for medical treatment and was subsequently certified dead yesterday (September 7).
The arrestee will appear before Tuen Mun Magistrates' Courts this morning.
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Yuen Long District are underway.
