Seminar for SMEs on "Key to Success - Human Resource Management and Marketing Strategy"

     The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Key to Success - Human Resource Management and Marketing Strategy" on September 24 (Wednesday).

     Speakers will include the President of Hong Kong SME Development Federation Ltd and Managing Director of Delicron (HK) Ltd, Dr Edward Lam; Assistant Professor of the Department of Management and Marketing of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dr Mak Wai-ming; and Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Marketing of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dr Wong Yiu-hing. They will provide a multi-faceted analysis on marketing strategy formulation, human resource management and innovation. There will also be an experience sharing session by three companies on coping with high operating costs (rent) and developing the Mainland market. They are the Director of Kai Tai Chinese Medicine (Holdings) Co Ltd, Mr Rufus Yeung; Managing Director of Fok Hing (HK) Trading Ltd (Agency of "Indomie" in Hong Kong), Mr Charles Lui; and Former Senior Vice President (Hong Kong Branch) of China Minsheng Bank, Mr Charley Tsai.

     The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
