The Leisure and Cultural Services Department today (August 29) announced that, with several exceptions, all public libraries and mobile libraries will close at 5pm on the Mid-Autumn Festival (September 8, Monday). The exceptions are North Lamma Public Library, which will close at 4.30pm, and the individual libraries that are closed on Mondays, namely Lek Yuen, Peng Chau, South Lamma, Tai O and Tin Shui Wai North Public Libraries.
Apart from North Lamma Public Library, which is closed on Tuesdays, the opening hours of all public libraries and mobile libraries on the day following the Mid-Autumn Festival ( September 9, Tuesday) will be the same as those for public holidays.
