Cantonese operatic stars to perform in concerts

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will present two Cantonese operatic songs concerts featuring a number of renowned performers in October. Details are as follows:

October 18 (Saturday), 7.30pm
Auditorium, Yuen Long Theatre
Tickets: $100, $160 and $220
Programme: "Broken Bridge", "The Hairpin as Dagger" from "The Priceless Jade", "Saving Pui" from "The Reincarnation of a Beauty", "Farewell at the Willow Pavilion" from "Lin Chong", and "Zhou Yu Wallowing in a Love Song".
Performers: Ng Chin-fung, Nam Fung, Liang Zhaoming, Emily Chan, Man Kim-fei and Li Fung

October 24 (Friday), 7.30pm
Auditorium, Tsuen Wan Town Hall
Tickets: $100, $140, $180 and $220
Programme: "Lu An Zhou", "Meeting in the Dream at Taihu" from "Xi Shi", "At the Swing" from "Dream in Peony Pavilion", "Meeting at the Flowery Pavilion", and "Disaster Strikes" from "The Tragedy of Two Patriotic Brothers".
Performers: Ng Chin-fung, Nam Fung, Huang Weikun, Tang Mi-ling, Man Kim-fei and Li Fung

     Tickets for the Cantonese operatic songs concerts are now available at URBTIX. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for full-time students and CSSA recipients are available on a first-come, first-served basis).
