Proposed junction upgrades in Kowloon Bay gazetted

     The Government gazetted today (August 22) the proposed junction upgrades at Wang Chiu Road in Kowloon Bay.

     The works are required to improve traffic flow to serve the existing and proposed development at the southern part of the former runway of Kai Tak Airport.  The connectivity and accessibility between Kowloon Bay and Kai Tak Development area will also be enhanced.

     The proposed works are set out in the Annex. The plans and scheme of the Kai Tak Development -Infrastructure Works for Developments at the Southern Part of the Former Runway - Junction Improvements at Wang Chiu Road in Kowloon Bay are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

Central and Western District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,

Kwun Tong District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,

     The gazette notice and location plan will be available at www.thb.gov.hk/eng/psp/publications/transport/gazette/gazette.htm.

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before October 21, 2014.
