URBTIX mobile ticketing app launched to enhance services
********************************************************

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department's URBTIX ticketing system has launched a new mobile ticketing app for Android and iPhone users, enabling patrons to purchase event tickets conveniently anywhere and anytime.

Patrons can search for "URBTIX" at Google Play or the Apple App Store, or scan the attached QR code, to download the mobile app for free.

The URBTIX ticketing system has been undergoing upgrades since March this year to provide enhanced ticketing services. With enlarged capacity and added functions, the new system has implemented more online services. In addition to the mobile ticketing app, other new features include a more user-friendly online ticketing interface and provision of a bulk purchase form for big festivals and event series to enable users to make multiple purchases at the same time. Patrons can also use the new bookmark function to keep their favourite events on the same page for easy browsing and ticket booking.

Registered members can enjoy personalised services including receipt of email reminders on scheduled dates before performances they have bought tickets for as well as email promotional information on their favourite event categories.

In addition to using the new mobile ticketing app and Internet booking services, customers can also buy tickets at the 40 URBTIX outlets in person or through credit card telephone booking at 2111 5999. Telephone enquiries can be made from 10am to 8pm daily at the new number 3761 6661.
