| The Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, today (August 15) attended the 4th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation High-Level Meeting on Health and the Economy in Beijing. Under the theme of "A New Vision for a Healthy Asia-Pacific in 2020", the high-level meeting brings together senior health officials from various places to share their views on challenges in aspects of public health in the region. The discussion topics will include pandemic preparedness, drug-resistant pathogens, drug safety and women's health.
