To facilitate the revitalisation of Edinburgh Place fronting City Hall and the City Gallery in Central, the Government has proposed the permanent closure of the existing staircase and sections of the existing carriageway and footpaths of Edinburgh Place. The proposal was gazetted today (August 15).
The plan and the scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

Public Enquiry Service Centre,

99 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong
District Lands Office,
Hong Kong West and South,
20/F, Southorn Centre,
