Proposed lift installation at Kwai Chung footbridge gazetted

     The Government gazetted today (August 15) the proposed lift installation at the footbridge (No. NF229) across the junction of Castle Peak Road - Kwai Chung, Kwai Chung Road and Lei Muk Road in Kwai Chung. The works are part of the Universal Accessibility Programme.

     The proposed works are set out in the Annex. The plan and the scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

     Central and Western District Office,
     Public Enquiry Service Centre,
     Unit 5, G/F, The Center,
     99 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong

     Kwai Tsing District Office,
     Public Enquiry Service Centre,
     2/F, Kwai Hing Government Offices Building,
     166-174 Hing Fong Road,
     Kwai Chung, New Territories

     District Lands Office,
     Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing,
     10/F, Tsuen Wan Multi-storey Carpark Building,
     174-208 Castle Peak Road,
     Tsuen Wan, New Territories

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before October 14, 2014.
