Proposed road closure in Sha Tin gazetted

     The Government published in the Gazette today (August 15) the proposed permanent closure and demolition of the existing carriageway and footpath at San Chuk Street in Sha Tin Areas 16 and 58D. The proposed works aim to facilitate future public housing development in these areas.

     The plan and scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

     Central and Western District Office,
     Public Enquiry Service Centre,
     Unit 5, G/F, The Center,
     99 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong

     Sha Tin District Office,
     Public Enquiry Service Centre,
     G/F, Sha Tin Government Offices,
     1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Sha Tin, New Territories

     District Lands Office, Sha Tin,
     11/F, Sha Tin Government Offices,
     1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Sha Tin, New Territories

     The gazette notice and location plan will be available at www.thb.gov.hk/eng/psp/publications/transport/gazette/gazette.htm.¡@

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before October 14, 2014.
