The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department announced today (August 14) that two different kinds of bottled bean milk samples, produced locally by HealthWorks, have been contaminated with a pathogen, Bacillus cereus. Although the use-by date of the products concerned have passed, the CFS, in the interests of safety, urged consumers who had bought and still possessed the affected batches of the products not to consume them.
