Police will implement special traffic arrangements to facilitate a public procession to be held on Hong Kong Island this Sunday (August 3).
The procession will depart Chater Garden at 2.30pm via eastbound Queensway, northbound Arsenal Street, western pavement of Arsenal Street (northward), southbound Arsenal Street, eastbound Jaffe Road, southbound Fenwick Street, westbound Hennessy Road, westbound Queensway and return to Chater Garden.
Road sections along the route will be intermittently closed from 2pm onwards until the crowd is dispersed. The first right lane of Garden Road flyover will also be intermittently closed if necessary.
Vehicles may not be permitted to leave or enter car parks along affected road sections during the road closure period.
All parking meters (including motorcycle parking spaces) on the left most lane of Jaffe Road between Fenwick Street and Arsenal Street will be suspended between 11am and 5pm.
