Mr Chow Chor-tim will assume the post of District Officer (Southern) tomorrow (July 26), succeeding Ms Christine Wai.
Mr Chow joined the Executive Officer Grade in 1981. He has served in various bureaus and departments including the former City and New Territories Administration, the former Municipal Services Branch, the former Regional Services Department, the former Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority, the former Urban Services Department, the former Finance Branch, the Social Welfare Department and the Civil Service Bureau.
He was the Departmental Secretary of the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department before taking up the new post.
