The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, met the visiting Deputy Director of the China National Space Administration (CNSA), Mr Zhang Jianhua, at Government House this afternoon (July 21).
Mr Leung welcomed Mr Zhang and the CNSA delegation, who attended the opening ceremony of the "Exhibition on China's Lunar Exploration Programme" at the Hong Kong Space Museum. He thanked the CNSA and the supporting organisations for providing valuable exhibits for the exhibition.
Mr Leung congratulated the CNSA on the excellent achievements made by the country's lunar exploration programme. He also said that he is very pleased that scientific research team members from Hong Kong took part in the Chang'e-3 lunar exploration programme and hopes that more science and technology experts in Hong Kong can take part in various fields of our country's scientific research.
