A model of the Chang'e-3 lander, which uses various advanced technologies allowing it to decelerate steadily at a distance of 15 kilometres from the lunar surface. With the help of a landing camera and a laser altimeter it is able to locate a suitable site and accomplish lunar landing.   Close
