Chief Executive: The Chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee reiterated a long standing position of the Central authorities. This is to successfully implement universal suffrage to elect the Chief Executive in Hong Kong in 2017. We have to strictly follow the provisions of the Basic Law and also the stipulations of the NPC Standing Committee's decisions.
