Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (July 17) that Tong Fuk Beach, Upper Cheung Sha Beach, Lower Cheung Sha Beach, Pui O Beach and Hung Shing Yeh Beach in Islands District have been temporarily closed until further notice for maintenance of shark prevention nets. Red flags have been hoisted at the beaches. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at these beaches.
