The Site Safety Forum for Works Contracts and Property Services Contracts 2014, jointly organised by the Hong Kong Housing Authority and the Occupational Safety and Health Council, was held today (July 16) to promote site safety awareness.
The theme for this year's forum was "Risk Assessment is the Key to Site Safety". The industry was encouraged to enhance risk management and formulate precise safety measures so as to eliminate common risks at works sites. Professionals from the construction, property management and cleaning services sectors were invited to share their experience of different safety measures, offering practical information on site safety to over 600 participants.
Through the annual Site Safety Forum for Works Contracts and Property Services Contracts, the organisers aim to update the industry with the latest and practical safety information, and reinforce safe working and safety consciousness in order to create a safe workplace with "zero incidents".
