The Information Services Department (ISD) is taking part in this year's Hong Kong Book Fair (July 16–22) under the theme "All You Can Read".
A total of 117 Government titles, CDs, VCDs and DVDs will be on sale at the fair, with 53 being sold at a 25 per cent discount including the newly published yearbook "Hong Kong 2013".
A number of specially priced books are also on sale this year including the Hong Kong Observatory Calendar 2014, Hong Kong Observatory Almanac 2014 and ISD's 50th anniversary publication "50 Years of Dedicated Information Services", with discounts ranging from 50 to 85 per cent.
Customers buying publications at the ISD booth will receive a souvenir bookmark and may pay for items in cash or with an Octopus card.
To help save the environment plastic bags will not be handed out at the booth. Purchasers are asked to bring their own carry bag.
The ISD booth is located at stall C37 in Hall 1A of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
