The Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) will park its mobile collection vehicle at the lay-by outside Fanling MTR Station Exit A2 from tomorrow (July 15) to July 27 (except for July 21) to enable people to donate blood. The service hours will be between 11.30am and 6pm. An umbrella or T-shirt will be presented to those who give blood successfully during the above period while stocks last.
Recently, the blood inventories have remained at marginally low or low levels. The BTS would like more people to make an effort to donate regularly to help bring up the blood stock.
