Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Lok Ma Chau this morning (June 27) in which a 53-year-old man died.
About 5.47am, a private car driven by the 53-year-old man was travelling along San Sham Road towards San Tin Interchange. When reaching the San Tin Interchange, it reportedly lost control and rammed into the crash barriers.
After the impact, the man was rushed to the North District Hospital in unconscious state where he was certified dead at 6.13am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North, are underway.
