Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong this afternoon (June 11) in which a 63-year-old man died.
About 1.40pm, a taxi driven by the man was travelling along Wai Yip Street towards Mong Kok. When reaching the junction of Wai Yip Street and Cha Kwo Ling Road, it reportedly lost control and rammed into the railings on roadside.
After the impact, the man was in unconscious state and was rushed to the United Christian Hospital where he was certified dead at 2.15pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are underway.
