Man arrested for murder

     Police today (June 10) arrested a 22-year-old man in suspected connection with a murder case in Mong Kok in the small hours of today in which a 29-year-old man was killed.
 
     About 1am, Police received a report that a chair fell from height and hit a man at 74-84 Sai Yeung Choi Street South.
 
     Police officers sped to the scene and found a 29-year-old man lying unconsciously on the pavement. Sustaining head injuries, he was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital where he was certified dead at 1.19am.
 
     Police located a 22-year-old man at the rooftop of a building at 59 Sai Yeung Choi Street South. Initial investigations revealed that he threw the chair from the rooftop of the building. He was arrested for murder and was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital for examination.
 
     Post mortem examination will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.  
 
     Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Mong Kok District are underway.
