Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (June 7) that since the water off Hung Shing Yeh Beach, Lo So Shing Beach, Pui O Beach, Silver Mine Bay Beach and Lower Cheung Sha Beach in Islands District are now suitable for swimming, the red flags have been lowered.
The red flags were hoisted at the beach earlier on after red tides were found.
