Police will implement special traffic arrangements on Sunday (June 1) to facilitate the holding of a triathlon in Tai Po.
The following road sections will be closed from 6am to noon on June 1:
- Chong San Road between Science Park Road and Fo Shing Road;
- Fo Yin Road; and
- Fo Hing Street.
During the road closure period, vehicles on northbound Science Park Road heading towards westbound Chong San Road will be diverted via roundabout, southbound Science Park Road, roundabout, westbound Chak Cheung Street, roundabout, slip road, northbound Tolo Highway, slip road, westbound Tai Po Road – Yuen Chau Tsai, roundabout, eastbound Tai Po Road – Yuen Chau Tsai, slip road, southbound Tolo Highway, roundabout and eastbound Chong San Road.
All vehicles, except emergency or authorised vehicles will be prohibited from driving into the above closed roads.
Motorists are advised to pay attention to special traffic signs and instructions of the Police.
