The Water Supplies Department (WSD) announced that, owing to a supply system fault at Pak Kong Au Fresh Water Service Reservoir, Sai Kung, the fresh and flushing water supply to some premises in Sai Kung District has been suspended from 1.30pm today (May 30).
The suspension affects all premises in the area bounded by Sai Kung town centre, Sai Kung Country Park and the Outlying islands of Sai Kung.
Repair work is being urgently carried out and normal supply is expected to resume at midnight.
The WSD will set up water tanks and deploy water wagons to provide temporary fresh water supply to the affected premises.
