Tai Wai Market to be temporarily closed for maintenance

     The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) announced today (May 13) that Tai Wai Market, located at Chik Fai Street, Tai Wai, Sha Tin, will be temporarily closed from Thursday (May 15) for maintenance work on the internal ceilings.

     "It is necessary to carry out repair works to the spalling ceilings of the market,” an FEHD spokesman said.

     The market is expected to be re-opened in late June after completion of the maintenance works.
