The Land Registry has launched a mobile version of the Integrated Registration Information System (IRIS) Online Services to facilitate the use of smartphones and tablets for searching land records. It can be accessed through the IRIS website (www.iris.gov.hk).
The mobile version is compatible with iOS and Android operating systems. It provides services for the search of land registers, land documents and unposted memorial information. Members of the public can also request plain copies of these land records by e-mail through this platform.
Existing IRIS subscribers can use their login IDs to conduct searches online and settle payment by monthly autopay. Ad hoc users can conduct searches through the mobile version and pay fees online by credit cards.
