CSD officers stop an attempted escape

Officers of the Correctional Services Department (CSD) today (April 30) stopped a person in custody from attempting to escape.
At 10.55am, the male person in custody, aged 26, suddenly dashed towards the exit and attempted to escape after a medical appointment at North District Hospital. He was instantly stopped by the escort staff and sent back to the institution.
The case has been reported to the Police for investigation.
