Police are investigating a traffic accident in Pat Heung today (April 28) in which a 51-year-old man died.
About 11.10am, a medium goods vehicle (MGV) driven by a 58-year-old man reportedly knocked down the 51-year-old male worker when it reversed on Kam Sheung Road near Ng Ka Tsuen.
Sustaining serious chest injuries, the 51-year-old man was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital in semi-conscious state where he was certified dead at 12.04pm.
The MGV driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North, are underway.
