CE meets US Congressional delegation (with photo)

The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, met the visiting United States (US) Congressional delegation led by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, Mr Patrick Leahy, and the Deputy Minority Whip of the Senate, Mr Roger Wicker, at the Chief Executive's Office this afternoon (April 22) to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
Mr Leung said that Hong Kong and the US enjoy close trade and economic ties. As an international city, Hong Kong could act as the "super-connector" in linking the US to the markets both on the Mainland and across Asia. He said he hoped that the two places would continue their frequent exchanges and co-operation on all fronts.
