The Town Planning Board today (April 11) announced amendments to the draft Ngau Tau Kok and Kowloon Bay Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of two sites at Choi Hing Road and Choi Hing Lane from "Government, Institution or Community" ("G/IC"), an area shown as "Road" and "Green Belt" to "Residential (Group A)1" for a Home Ownership Scheme development; a site at Choi Wing Road from "G/IC" to "Residential (Group A)2" for a public rental housing and indoor recreation centre development; and a piece of land bounded by Shun Yip Street and Hung Yip Street from an area shown as "Road" to "Other Specified Uses" annotated "Business". Opportunity is also taken to amend the Notes and Explanatory Statement of the OZP to reflect the above amendments and to update the general information of various land use zonings.
The draft Ngau Tau Kok and Kowloon Bay OZP No. S/K13/28, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Kowloon District Planning Office and the Kwun Tong District Office.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before June 11. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Ngau Tau Kok and Kowloon Bay OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Town Planning Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb/).
