Man holding charged with attempted murder

Police today (April 6) holding charged a 37-year-old man with one count of attempted murder.
Police arrested the man on April 4 in connection with an attempted murder case that afternoon in Cheung Sha Wan in which his 67-year-old mother-in-law was found lying unconsciously in a unit in Mei Foo Sun Chuen. The woman was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital for medical treatment.
The arrestee will appear before Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (April 7).
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Sham Shui Po District are underway.
