The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (March 28) that the following leisure and sports facilities will be temporarily closed:
(a) Tuen Mun Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground will be temporarily closed from April 7 to September 30, 2014, for track resurfacing, grass pitch turf maintenance and other improvement works. Tennis courts at the venue will be open as usual. During the closure period, the public may use similar facilities at Siu Lun Sports Ground in the same district.
(b) The grass pitch of Tin Shui Wai Sports Ground in Yuen Long District will be temporarily closed from May 21 to July 1, 2014, for turf maintenance. During the closure period, the public may use the nearby Yuen Long Stadium.
Moreover, the overhaul renovation works of King's Park Hockey Ground in Yau Tsim Mong District will be extended until April 25, 2014. During the closure period, the public may use other similar facilities of the LCSD.
