Ming Ri to stage new children's puppet show "The Dragon who can't Spark"

     Ming Ri Institute for Arts Education will stage a new children's puppet show titled "The Dragon who can't Spark" in May and June.

     The story centres on a sad little dragon who stays in his cave all day long because he is unable to produce fire like his friends can. One day, when it is raining heavily, a tiny insect comes along and boldly talks to the little dragon. What an interesting adventure lies ahead of them! Details of the performances are as follows:

     Performed in Cantonese, "The Dragon who can't Spark" is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). Tickets are now available at URBTIX outlets, on the Internet and by credit card telephone booking. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for CSSA recipients are available on a first-come, first-served basis). A maximum discount of 20 per cent is offered for the group booking package.

     In addition, the LCSD will organise eight puppet workshops (conducted in Cantonese) titled "Make a Dragon Puppet DIY Workshop", to tie in with the performances, during which parents and children can design and their own dragon puppets. The workshops are suitable for people aged three and above. Tickets priced at $40 for each workshop are available at URBTIX outlets. Workshop details are as follows:
