Police are investigating a traffic accident in Pat Heung this morning (March 27) in which a 34-year-old man died.
About 6.30am, a motorcycle driven by the man was travelling along Kam Tin Road towards Sheung Shui. When approaching a petrol station, it reportedly hit the rear part of a medium goods vehicle (MGV) in front while trying to overtake the MGV.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Pok Oi Hospital in unconscious state for treatment. He was certified dead at 7.12am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are underway.
