The Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing, will depart for Macau tomorrow morning (March 27) to attend the 2014 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition.
Upon arrival in Macau, Mr Wong, leading a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government delegation, will attend the opening ceremony and tour the booths at the exhibition. He will also take the opportunity to meet his counterparts from the Macau Special Administrative Region and Portugal. Before leaving Macau, Mr Wong will also see for himself the local waste automatic collection system.
Mr Wong and the delegation will return to Hong Kong in the evening of the same day.
