Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tsing Yi today (March 25) in which a 49-year-old man died.
About 2 pm, a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) driven by a 52-year-old man reportedly knocked down the 49-year-old man when it reversed at the cargo loading area in Wing Shun Street.
The man was trapped under the HGV and certified dead at scene.
The HGV driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South, are underway.
