The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, met the visiting United States (US) Congressional delegation led by the Co-Chairs of the US-China Working Group, Mr Rick Larsen and Mr Charles Boustany, at Government House this evening (March 22) to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
Mr Leung updated the delegation on the latest developments of Hong Kong and the city's role as the "super-connector" in linking the US to the markets both in the Mainland and across Asia. Mr Leung said he hopes that the two places will continue their frequent exchanges on all fronts.
Mr Leung encouraged more US enterprises to invest in Hong Kong and make use of the close links between Hong Kong and the Mainland to explore the Mainland market.
