Proposed amendment to scheme description of Cross Bay Link gazetted

     The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (March 21) on the proposed amendments to the scheme annexed to Plans Nos. 209506/GZ/201 to 209506/GZ/204 (the Plans) of Cross Bay Link, Tseung Kwan O. The proposed amendments are required to describe the government foreshore and sea-bed in respect of which the Permanent Secretary for Transport and Housing (Transport) proposes that powers under section 17 of the Roads (Works, Use and Compensation) Ordinance (Chapter 370) may be exercised for implementation of the foundation works of the proposed elevated road. There are no amendments to the Plans, and the design of the project remains unchanged.

     The amendment scheme is set out in the Annex. The Plans and amendment scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

     Any person who wishes to object to the proposed amendments should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before May 20, 2014.
