EMSD urges public to suspend use of two models of Dyson Fan Heater (with photo)

The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department today (March 18) urged the public to suspend use of Dyson Fan Heaters with model numbers AM04 and AM05 and contact the supplier, Dyson, for free replacement services.
The supplier found that, in very rare cases, moisture may enter the product's internal components and cause a short circuit.
The two models were sold in Hong Kong since January 2012.
