Special traffic arrangements on Hong Kong Island for public processions

     Police will implement special traffic arrangements on March 16 (Sunday) to facilitate two public processions to be held on Hong Kong Island.

     One procession will depart Southorn Playground at 2pm for Central Government Offices via westbound Hennessy Road, westbound Queensway, Pacific Place footbridge, Queensway Plaza, CITIC Tower footbridge, Tim Mei Avenue, Harcourt Road northern pavement (eastward) and Tim Mei Avenue western pavement (northward).

     Another procession will depart Chater Garden at 2pm for Tim Wa Avenue eastern pavement and Lung Wo Road southern pavement via eastbound Queensway, northbound Rodney Street, Harcourt Road southern pavement (westward), elevated walkway between Admiralty Centre and Central Government Offices, Tamar Park and Lung Wo Road southern pavement (westward).

     Police will intermittently close some traffic lanes along the procession route when necessary. Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience, and follow the instructions of the Police on site.
