Seminar for SMEs on "Road to Successful Business Start-up"

     The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar titled "Road to Successful Business Start-up" on March 28 (Friday).

     Speakers include the Chief Operating Officer of B&J Marketing Consultancy Ltd, Mr Jacky Luk, and the Senior Vice President (Operations) of Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited, Mr Stanley Chan. Mr Luk will speak on marketing strategy for business start-ups, and Mr Chan will introduce the support services for business starters and self-employed persons under the "Microfinance Scheme". There will also be an experience sharing session by three successful start-up entrepreneurs, namely Mr William Shum from Memorigin Trading Company, Mr Derek Shek from Legato Technologies Limited, and Mr Dennis Au from Conduct Chinese Medicine Clinic. The session will be moderated by the Supervisor of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, Mr Gary Tang, who will also introduce the "Youth Business Hong Kong" programme and support services under the programme.

     The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
