Traffic arrangements for New Territories Walk and Cycling Challenge

     Police will implement special arrangements in the New Territories and Kowloon to facilitate the 2013/2014 New Territories Walk and Cycling Challenge to be held on March 9 (Sunday).

     The cycling challenge and the charity walk will commence at 6.45am and 7.30am respectively. The following Tsing Sha Highway entrances will be closed to all vehicular traffic from about 0.30am onwards:

- Tsing Sha Highway entrance (Shatin bound) from eastbound Lantau Link, southbound Cheung Tsing Highway, Tsing Yi Roundabout No.2, eastbound Container Port Road South, northbound Lai Po Road slip road, eastbound Ching Cheung Road and northbound Castle Peak Road; and
- Tsing Sha Highway entrance (Airport bound) from westbound Tai Po Road (Tai Wai), westbound Che Kung Miu Road, junction of Mei Tin Road and Chik Fai Street, northbound West Kowloon Highway and westbound Container Port Road South.

     Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Members of the public are urged to take heed of instructions of police at scene.
