The Regional Commander of Hong Kong Island, Mr Li Kin-fai, on behalf of the Force today (March 2) received a letter and signatures from organisations in support of Mr Kevin Lau and condemning violence outside the Police Headquarters.
After having received the letter, Mr Li said the Police attached great importance to this case and are investigating the case from all angles. Over the past few days, a large amount of resources have been deployed in the investigation with a view to identifying and arresting the culprits.
He reiterated that the Police would not tolerate any violence and that the Police, the media and members of the public shared the same goal to apprehend the culprits.
